KRC GENK 2017/18 HOME SHIRT – MATCHWORN/ISSUED #24 POZUELO (SIZE M)

The shirt:

Matchworn or issued shirt for the Genk stylist Pozuelo, recognizable by the Pro League badge on the sleeves. The shirt has some small signs of use on the back (from a match?) and some insignificant hooks/fuzzies. The nameset is slightly coming off at the top right, but it is meaningless.

The history:

Genk reached the playoffs in the 2017/18 season but finished 5th, and they were quickly eliminated from the UEFA Cup by Celtic. They also reached the Belgian Cup final but lost to Standard Liège. Pozuelo was a key player that season, later becoming the team’s captain, and finished third in the 2018 Golden Shoe award.
