The 1990-1992 season for Juventus was marked by the arrival of Roberto Baggio, who joined from Fiorentina for a record fee. Although Juventus had a disappointing Serie A campaign, they reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, where they were eliminated by Barcelona.
