Historic shirt of Jean-Marie Pfaff, likely worn at Euro 1984 or shortly after. The shirt has all the characteristics of a match-worn jersey, featuring the original number 1 and reinforced elbows showing signs of use. The Belgian emblem is printed in velour.
Jean-Marie Pfaff was known for his spectacular style and blonde curls, played for KSK Beveren, Bayern Munich, and the Red Devils in the 1980s. He won the 1978 Golden Shoe, was named World Goalkeeper of the Year in 1987, and featured in Pelé’s FIFA 100. Post-career, he starred in the reality series De Pfaffs and briefly coached KV Oostende. Pfaff was part of a golden generation of Red Devils, including Ceulemans, Grün, Gerets, Clijsters, Scifo, and Vandenbergh, reaching the 1986 World Cup semifinals in Mexico—a historic achievement. At Euro 1984, they were eliminated by France in the group stage.
Very good, 8/10 (signs of use)
